LinkedIn wants you to report AI slop now
Earlier this month, the folks at 404 Media reported that 41% of long form posts on LinkedIn were completely AI generated...something anyone who’s spent any time on the platform in the last year knew already.
Which times out pretty well with LinkedIn's latest update: A "Report AI Slop" button.
Pretty rich from LinkedIn given they were recently pushing suggested AI comments and a “takeaways” feature (perfect for the busy professional with no time to read 80 whole words). Better late than never though.
